A collaboration with three economy students at NMBU and Jon Obstfelde, a representative from Diplom-is - Norway’s largest ice cream manufacturer.
Brief / Design a product that minimizes empty space in ice cream packaging, in order to be more environmentally friendly and reduce transportation costs.

Flipstick reduces space by utilizing one easy flip.
The stick will be produced in recycled plastic for its elastic movement, yet preserve the familiar ice cream experience through its traditional stick form.
By maintaining the length of the classic 113 pin, the traditional stacking efficiency and function is preserved throughout all stages of production.
Flipstick can be produced as one component in injection moulding.
